Hydrotherapy

Hydrotherapy also known as aquatic therapy or water therapy is a therapeutic approach that involves the use of water for physical rehabilitation, relaxation, and pain relief. 
The programme relies on the unique properties of water, such as buoyancy, resistance, and temperature, to facilitate healing and improve physical function.

Suitable conditions for Hydrotherapy include:

• Musculoskeletal Conditions
• Rehabilitation After Surgery
• Neurological Conditions
• Stress and Anxiety Reduction

This package includes：

• 1x Home hydrotherapy session by SHH Physiotherapist
• Assessment & Consultation
• Monitoring and Progression
• Educational materials
• A clear care plan that works with the patient.

This package does not include：

• The Hydrotherapy package does not require any consumables. However, any additional services requested by the patient or recommended by our physiotherapist, along with their required consumables, will incur additional charges and are not covered under the initial package.

Terms & Condition：

• This package is currently only available in Klang Valley
• Additional surcharge will be incurred for locations beyond 20KM radius from Bandar Sunway.
• Patients must undergo assessment first to see if their condition is fit for hydrotherapy.
• Patient must arrange to have a swimming pool available to conduct the programme.
• Patient’s family member or caregiver must be on site to look after the safety of the patient.
• Our trained nurses may suggest additional procedures if additional conditions are discovered during the visit.
• Appointments on Sundays or public holidays will have additional RM 100 surchage
